Getting anger under control

Anger is a normal, healthy emotion.

It becomes unhealthy when it flares up most times or spirals out of control. Explosive anger has severe consequences for yourself, your relationships, and your state of mind and being.

The good news is that getting anger under control is easier than you think. With insight into the real reasons for your anger and the proper management tools, you can learn to keep your temper from controlling and ultimately ruining your life.

We have an anger management class for teenagers and adults.

This educational program is ideal for:

  • court requirements

  • businesses

  • probation departments

  • human resources

  • law offices

  • diversion programs

  • families

  • couples

  • individuals

Our in-person and virtual anger management class is an affordable, convenient, and responsible way of learning to better manage and control anger-related problems in life.

D.C. and Maryland based Anger Management Class

The 12-week course price includes an enrollment verification letter and your certificate of completion. We do not charge additional fees for providing these documents. We offer short-term and long-term classes covering up to 12 modules that focus on effective coping behavior to stop escalation and conflict resolution and reduce levels of anger in provocative situations. While a variety of online classes are available to you, the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) does not endorse or recommend online anger management programs for court-ordered offenders because there’s no sound scientific research showing their effectiveness compared with the positive results of face-to-face anger management programs.

Have a requirement to meet?

Our Anger Management Class has been written by a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-1) and a member of the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). The program provides meaningful content intended to meet court requirements and promote personal growth. In this class, you will have an opportunity to connect in a safe and confidential setting.  You will also have guided opportunities to reinforce and internalize anger management skills.

The Anger Management Class has several different names, but they all reference the exact class requirement. If you have been instructed to take any one of the following classes, then our Anger Management Class may satisfy that requirement:

I'm ready to help you.

I'm Trina Goffe, a Certified Anger Management Specialist through the National Anger Management Association. The National Anger Management Association (NAMA) is the international professional association (represented in 26 countries) for anger management, crisis intervention, and domestic violence.

I am committed and passionate about working with people and in our community. I’m a compassionate person, empathetic listener, and solution-focused. As a Certified Anger Management Specialist I, I have been trained and certified to offer anger management groups, classes, and individual sessions. Participants learn to take responsibility for their anger through a weekly anger log and interactive workbook. This makes an anger management program an excellent alternative to punitive incarcerations and fines, harming families and communities.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you when you are ready to take that next step forward.
